CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Friedrich Ebert Foundation, office in Tirana is organizing the first youth summer camp with young people, aged between 18 and 25, from social democratic parties and trade unions in Albania, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia!
This summer camp aims to gather approximately 60 young members, active within their respective organisations, in Albania from 10th to 15th September 2013. Its main topic will be Social democratic perspectives – young people in South East Europe.
The camp will take place in Voskopoja (Korça district, Albania) at Hotel Akademia. The hotel is situated in the hills and has a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
English will be the main language of communication.
This summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for young social democrats to share different experiences, perspectives and challenges facing social democracy in their countries and to engage in an exchange of ideas on issues that have an impact on youth policies.
Through various camp activities, we look forward to creating a very dynamic and long lasting bond and friendships among the participants. Some activities lined up during the camp are:
• Interaction with other participants and members of social democratic parties and trade unions
• Discussions of various European Union programmes aimed at young people
• Group activities to enhance leadership skills
• Political guided tours
