Members of CET platform Macedonia on a project in Poland about supporting youth and social inclusion
From 30th of August until 7th of September 2016, 2 participants and 1 trainer from CET platform Macedonia took part in the project “Youth Support Youth” which was a Mobility of youth workers – Training curse, hosted in Stara Kraśnica, Poland by our Polish partner Youth Support Centre.
The Training Course included 28 participants and 5 project team members from 14 partner organizations including hosting organization Youth Support Center. Other partner organizations were from Cyprus, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Malta, Spain, United Kingdom, Latvia, Italy, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Estonia.
The main aim of the project was to create innovative approach in youth work for involved organizations and other relevant stakeholders in order to help them to promote European values, European citizenship and active participation among target groups. In general project contributed to social inclusion, prevention of radicalization, discrimination and other social issues that are in collision with European values and culture.
Various forms of non-formal education had been used, including team-building and ice-breakers, brainstorming, group work, presentations, debates, discussions, role plays, simulations, IT workshops, creation of different multimedia materials, Round tables and theatre.
Results of the project are TOOLBOX of Non-Formal Learning Methods (click to download), well equipped website with all information about the project, partner organizations, project’s activities and establishment of long-lasting partnerships and the network of youth workers and youth organisations from all over the Europe that will continue to contribute to inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, promotion of European values and European citizenship. In general project contributed to social inclusion, prevention of radicalization, discrimination and other social issues that are in collision with European values and culture.
