CET contributes to regional youth policy
Representative of CET platform took part in European Union – Balkan Youth meeting “Connecting Youth Work and Youth Policy” held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 25/09/2016 until 29/09/2016 in organization of SALTO-SEE, European Commission and National Agencies from Slovenia, Turkey, Austria and Germany.
Meeting was organized in order to provide opportunity to work together, to share our experiences and thoughts, listen and learn from other participants, and develop constructive proposals for future action to be taken the field of youth work and youth policy in support of European integration, following up the recommendations from the Western Balkans Youth Conference “Connecting Youth”.
Participants from youth organizations, youth councils, youth workers, decision makers and other stakeholders from Balkan and EU worked on Action plan that covers topics of social inclusion, dealing with the pars, extremism and radicalization, youth unemployment, youth participation and European citizenship.
We recognize this meeting and similar events as positive impulse in regional youth work. CET Platform will continue to contribute to such initiatives and give all possible support to it.
